2026 BEPC and CAP Exams Kick Off Smoothly in the Northwest Region.

Examination halls across the Northwest Region came alive this Monday, June 1, 2026, as hundreds of students officially began their end-of-course certificate examinations for the first cycle of secondary education.

According to official data, a total of 146 candidates are currently sitting for the Brevet d’Études du Premier Cycle (BEPC), with exams being administered across two major sub-centers in Bamenda and Nkambe. On the technical and vocational education side, 1,533 candidates are writing the Certificat d’Aptitude Professionnelle (CAP) examinations, spread across 17 centers throughout the region.

To ensure the integrity and smooth running of the process, the Northwest Regional Delegate of Secondary Education, Baijong Eziekel, conducted an inspection tour of several examination centers in Bamenda. Following his visit, the Delegate expressed satisfaction with the hitch-free start of the examinations, praising the high level of discipline, security, and preparedness observed on the ground.
